Our Taste of Many Cultures is being held at Tartan Senior High School located at 828 Greenway Ave. N. Oakdale, MN 55128
When is it?
The comittee and I are discussing the date and I will update this when I have the exact date! But it will be sometime in April.
Can anyone come?
Yes, we encourage people of all backrounds, races, religions, etc to come that's what event is all about!
What events are there going to be?
We hope to have song, dance, art, story telling, poetry that is in some way related to your culture or heritage! At the end of the night we will come together and share in our cultural food! We really encourage people to gain perspective and understanding of the diversities we have in America and learn to appreciate them as their own.
What should I wear?
We want as many people as possible to come dressed up in cultural clothing, this is about representing your culture and taking pride in it! So if you have cultural clothing wear it! If not you can still come of course but we would just like as much participation as possible for dressing up!
Are volunteers needed?
Yes, we need volunteers! We need people who are willing to display their cultural art, dance and sing in their native language, tell stories that were passed down from their forefathers.
